I'm Paula, a Ministry of Upholstery Graduate passionate about giving old furniture a new lease of life. During my time studying I learned modern upholstery techniques which I still use now. Since leaving the Ministry, I continue to expand my knowledge with various courses to master a range of more traditional skills.

From a child, I was always doing something creative. Whether I was painting, sewing or stripping furniture to create something beautiful and different. As an adult, I've progressed into making my own soft furnishings, curtains, cushions and even clothes. 

 

I’m hugely keen on interior decoration and fascinated by how a truly beautiful piece of furniture can transform a room. But choosing the right fabric for the right piece of furniture can be challenging for many people. 

 

I’m a great believer in recycling and am passionate about bringing old furniture back to life. An old favourite chair that’s worn and threadbare can be given a brand new lease of life and become the star piece in a stylish and modern home.
